Sabre Tiger

While sabre-toothed animals certainly isn’t new to most travelers, the Sabre Tiger is somewhat special in that it’s thick, striped hide protects it from fire damage.
This is due to it’s native climate of the warm deserts of Elsewyr, where it got accustomed to extreme heat. Noone knows how it eventually emigrated to Summerset Island, but some believe that a pair of one male and one female was brought here via exotic merchants. The animals then escaped into the wild, and thus all Tigers on Summerset stem from the same pair.
